rain drops #1

I was waiting for an opportunity to make this kind of shot since long. Finally, it happened on last Saturday, during our trip to Lonavala. How fresh and clean these drops look! May all our impurities and evil thoughts wash away with these rains! May the world spring with new life!

PS: special thanks to Sravan for letting me use his camera.

Metallic beauty..!

Metals attracted all kinds of living things using their shiny nature and are continuing to do so. Well, humans are a step ahead of other beings and fought wars for having ownership of these shiny things. I don't want to take any thing away from these things. Metals are truly beautiful when they are carved into artistic forms and simply pleases your eyes with their aesthetic beauty..

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take a picture of one of those beautiful things, which belongs to a friend of mine..Girls love them, don't they? And why not?.. Hats off to the maker..!

Picture details: Nikon D40, 18-55 mm lens, f/5.6, 1/6 sec exposure time, ISO-800and taken at 55 mm focal length.

Thinking of you...

"In this world of long-forgotten letters... In these days of key-boards and monitors... In these times of aimless thoughts... In these thoughts of those fond memories... I thought of remembering you... I thought of writing... I thought of writing your name... I thought of filling your name all over the page... I though of filling your name all over my heart..."

PS: This shot was captured while one of our friends was writing her loved one's name all over a paper, while there was a glow on her face, mixed with happiness, joy and warmth of love!
